A much needed laugh
Last night was book club. Our Bishop was gracious enough to add Spencer in with his girls so i could have a "free night" and enjoy adult conversation. (Best book ever by the way- "Saving CeeCee Honecutt.") Anyways...When i picked him up the Bishop proceeded to tell me what my son asked his little 7 year old to do. Apparently Spencer told her to "kick him in the nuts" when she said No, he said "it's OK ... i have my cup on!" Thankfully our Bishop intervened and laughed whole heartily when he relayed the story. Afterwards in the car when i asked him why he still had his cup on from karate? He said "mom i had to be prepared in case of an emergency!" Again i asked.... what emergency? and he says: "in case I get hit in my tenders." After the day i had with him today it was an answer to my prayers because WE sure needed that laugh! Thanks again Bishop. oh and Spencer isn't going to be asking anyone to kick him anywhere again.

It was even better hearing it first hand, and seeing him run around with his cup on!!
