Who knew that Nathaniel Hawthorne is from Salem??
I think we would've liked to stay longer and see something related to the witchtrials but we ran out of time. Plus we had a 4 year old who scares easily....ok a mommy who scares easily too! Such a cool city though and we found an AWESOME pizza place. YUMMY!!!

next time we'll take the "literary tour" we did drive past Waldon pond but didn't want to spoil the theme of the his book (and pay the parking fee to hike up to the little cabin and pond)maybe next time?!
