Hickory Run State park

Our friends Chris and Anna made the suggestion for a trip to Hickory Run and we jumped at the chance to go back. it was such a quiet, beautiful area.  Plus Chris wanted to fish and Spence was excited to try it again.  We first hit the falls and watched some crazy kids jump off (while their parents approvingly watched from below) crazy! Then the boulder field where Aaron was in heaven.  And finally came the fishing AND the rain! the boys were fishing in the rain and loving it. They just held their umbrella's with one hand and their fishing rods in the other.  I got out my cool beach umbrella that i have yet to use and sat in my camping chair and enjoyed the scenery.  We didn't even mind our flat tire we had to fix in the rain.  It's hard to be mad at something you have no control over and have a wonderful husband who is a great tire fixer!
