We put Spencer to bed last night and to our surprise for the first time since being in his new "toddler" bed it dawned on him that he could not only get out and be free but he could also go and get toys and books and bring them back to bed. He also came out and visited with his mommy and daddy because he didn't want to go to bed. Or as he likes to put it "not now" (which he says to EVERYTHING) So i got to cuddle him in my arms with his blanket like i use to do when he was a baby and sing to him. When he asked me to stop singing and listen to the primary songs my nostaliga wore off and i realized it was 11pm and time for my son to be asleep.
